JAMES & SOPHIE
JAMES & SOPHIE
A stunning Autumn wedding on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula.
James & Sophie’s celebration was a magical Autumn day!
Having their ceremony at Moorooduc Estate on The Mornington Peninsula was an easy choice for James & Sophie as it is run by family friends. Not only that, Moorooduc Estate produce delicious wines and the view is absolutely spectacular as the sun sets over the vineyard late in the afternoon.
On this Saturday in May, guests arrived just before 4pm and were greeted by the beautiful sounds of the baby grand piano being played while Reg, the resident peacock wandered in and out of the gardens and ceremony room. The setting became even more magical as the sun crept towards the horizon, filling the ceremony room with golden light as the open fire blazed. After the marriage vows and ceremony everyone enjoyed drinks on the deck as the sun set, overlooking the vineyard as James and Sophie and their big bridal party headed into the vines below for some photos.
Guests sipped on champagne whilst enjoying the most magnificent golden, red sunset. Celebrations continued in the evening at The Epicurian, a modern, rustic restaurant in Red Hill, not far from the winery. The huge barn style restaurant has big open fires and a relaxed atmosphere, serving fantastic food! It set the scene for a fun night of celebrations and some absolutely wonderful storytelling speeches.
Congratulations James & Sophie!
