THE BIG IDEA

In 2018, the Bank of Melbourne’s World’s Longest Lunch left the city for the banks of the Maribyrnong River. It was a colourful celebration of one of Melbourne’s most culturally diverse and food-loving communities.

1,600 guests took their seats along the Maribyrnong River, where they enjoyed an incredible menu designed by chefs Adam D’Sylva and Jerry Mai.

Kay-Lene Tan created a dazzling dessert course using Lavazza coffee as a hero to the dish, followed by samples of Lavazza cremespresso served by roving waiters.

Coffees were also on offer throughout the day to all guests at the Lavazza pop up cafes.
